Built by a Coach, for Coaches
I'm Kyle Matthies. For nearly 10 years, I've coached youth sports — soccer, softball, basketball, and Special Olympics. In that time, I've been committed to three things: developing every player, having as much fun as possible, and ensuring fair playtime and exposure to the game.
After spending too much time getting game plans just right — or hearing from a player or parent that "my kid always plays that position" (knowing I couldn't possibly track assignments as closely as they did) — I built a complex solution in Google Sheets.
That tool let me track every assignment and generate fair game plans at the click of a button. I could tell any parent exactly how many times their kid played each position. It flipped the information disadvantage and gave me confidence that I was actually achieving fairness.

I've now built that Google Sheets solution into a full website that lets any coach do the same tracking and simple lineup generation I did. It's built with rec sports in mind — creating competitive and fair teams — but my goal is to expand functionality to fit a wider range of competition levels.
